Who are you and why the heck should I hire you?

Good question. My name is Shannon Cook and I am a digitalCAT scopist. I am also a graduate of BeST Scoping Techniques. You can be assured that, as a graduate of a comprehensive scoping course, I read steno, have top-notch grammar and punctuation skills, and have the ability to research anything that comes my way. My attention to detail borders on the neurotic, so you can be sure that I will be going over your transcripts with a fine-toothed comb. And of course, as any good scopist should, I have a variety of tools available for reference, including Searchmaster and Morson’s.

Great, but what else?

My goal, first and foremost, is to make your life easier by providing the best service possible. As your scopist, I will adhere to your preferences and return your transcripts in a timely manner. I will help you grow your dictionary and improve your translation rate by including a job dictionary with every returned transcript.

That way, you can see my work for yourself with no further obligation. If you like what you see, I’d like to start our partnership by scoping a small job for you, up to 100 pages. After that, the sky’s the limit!
