Dear Jerry,

A thank you is many times false and only made to make people feel good. In this case that definitely is not true. My thanks to you is genuine for your programs at the Professional Photographers of Michigan fall seminar this past week. Your programs made me a hero. I can’t ever recall a person on a program giving as much as you did. Comments before the seminar were: “Who is Jerry Interval?, Did you ever see him before?, Are you sure he’s good?” After you were here for a day, the comments changed to---“Where on earth did you come up with this guy? He’s great!”

Never before have I seen people up so early in the morning anxious to see more and willing to skip golf. Proof came on Tuesday morning when I counted up to fifty people at a vacant old house taking pictures like wild; when normally they would have been long gone for home.

My only regret is that I wish I could have absorbed more myself, but unfortunately I had to keep on the move and missed much. Perhaps some day I will be able to sit in as a spectator and pick up what I missed. If you are ever in the area, please don’t hesitate to give me a call.
