HOUDINI STILL IN DANGER
Magicians Condition, However, is Considered Favorable

DETROIT, Mich., Oct. 28Harry Houdini, the magician, who is in Grace Hospital suffering from peritonitis, which developed after an operation Monday for appendicitis, will not be out of danger for several days, according to his physicians.
They issued the following bulletin this afternoon: The patient had a rather restless night, his condition, though still critical, continues good. Temperature 100.4; pulse, 104; respiration, 32.
The bulletin was signed by Drs. Charles S. Kennedy, John Taylor Watkins, Herbert W. Hewitt and Daniel E. Cohn.
The normal temperature is 98.6, normal pulse 72 and normal respiration about 30.
Dr. George L. Lefevre of Muskegon was in consultation with the other physicians and announced that he [?] the magicians condition [?].
