HOUDINI SHACKLED, TO LEAP OFF BRIDGE

Preparing for Bridge Jump (not NY)Harry Houdini, who is appearing at the Bronx Theatre this week, has agreed to jump from the bridge at Willis Avenue and 133d Street to-day, shackled with handcuffs and bound with chains, and release himself in the water and swim out. The exhibition will take place at 12:30 P.M. and the paraphernalia with which he will be incumbered is to weigh thirty-five pounds.
