When your budget or bench space is tight, you can count on Fisher Isotemp Mini Incubators for reliable heating. They’re compact and lightweight and have bottom-mounted controls for even greater space savings.
Idea for use in biology classrooms or as a backup unit for overloads in microbiology labs, Isotemp Mini Incubators handle all but the most critical laboratory incubation requirements.
Using gravity-flow convection, these units reach a maximum temperature of 60º C within one half-hour of start-up. You can set the temperature by turning the 20-setting dial to the position that best corresponds to the desired temperature.
Using a thermometer (not supplied), you can measure chamber temperature. Once the temperature stabilizes on the thermometer, adjust the dial to obtain a more precise setting. To protect valuable samples, a safety sentinel temperature mounting system takes over if the primary controller fails, maintaining temperature to ±5ºC.
Made of heavy-gauge carbon steel with a baked, shell-white enamel finish, Isotemp Mini Incubators feature double-wall construction with a 1" layer of impregnated fiberglass for enhanced temperature uniformity.
The inner chamber is made of aluminum to facilitate heat transfer. Doors open 180º for unhindered access to chamber contents. Both models are supplied with a thermometer bracket and one removable chrome-plated, carbon-steel, shelf (additional shelves available separately).
Units are available in 120V and 230V versions. The 120V models come with a line cord and grounded Nema 5-15P plug and are CSA approved. The 230V models are supplied with a line cord and NEMA 6-15P plug. All models are covered by a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
