Man, was she hot. From her peaks to her peds, this girl commanded attention. A true goddess, if you will. Okay, so she probably wasn’t the best conversationalist in the crowd. But her leather mini, golden-brown skin, firm legs and Aphrodite face spoke for themselves. With women like that at Roxy, who needs a better reason to go?
Of course, there’s more to this hotspot than just the ladies. Self-dubbed as “the place to be,” Roxy’s upscale atmosphere includes two high-energy floors featuring a variety of music, drinks and entertainment, with each night boasting a different theme (check out the Nightly Themes chart).

As the club states on its Web site, the main dance room on the lower level truly is “the heartbeat of Roxy.” A state-of-the-art sound system cranks out Top 40 tunes and features video projection while sizzling senoritas—both Roxy pros and crazy amateurs—dance on platforms. Drink orders come quickly, and female bartenders usually dress in schoolgirl skirts to please the wicked side of every man. Roxy also has ICE, a recently redesigned room featuring the “hip-phunk” sounds of hip-hop, basement jazz and funk: A great outlet for those who don’t get into the tunes played in the main dance room.
Interested in getting special treatment? Roxy has three VIP areas, including Bedside Service, the Safari area and the upper-level VIP room, which has private restrooms. But if you make VIP reservations, be prepared to pay through the nose (you better bring a box of tissues). Although you won’t wait in line or pay a cover, you’ll have to purchase a minimum of one bottle of booze for every four people in your group; the cheapest bottle is 85 bucks. And don’t forget the 20% gratuity Roxy tacks on to all bottle sales. Hey, I’m only the messenger. I never said being a VIP is economical.
The good news, however, is that you don’t have to be a VIP to have a great time at Roxy. Overall, the atmosphere is electric, the service is outstanding, the chicks are first-rate and the music is great. So if you haven’t been there yet, go with your buddies and see for yourself. But remember: Don’t wear shorts, sneakers, T-shirts, sandals, hats or crummy jeans. Otherwise, Roxy’s thugs won’t let you in.
