Creative Writing is my first and truest love. I was fortunate enough to know I was going to be a writer after Lewis, with his Chronicles, and then Tolkien, with his Rings, were through with me. Short stories and poetry got me started; novels were the goal. Along the way, I discovered a new love—screenwriting—and expanded my horizons. Creative writing will always serve as my foundation. Even when writing something as technical as a training manual, word choice can make the reading experience either torturous or pleasant. I prefer to make it pleasant.
